I’ve concocted a list that would potentially make fab Christmassy presents for those special humans in your life. I’ve also got a $15 and under Christmassy stocking stuffer gift guide coming up. I’ll be sure to link it here once its up! 😀
Bake some cookies!
If you’re on a budget and need to provide something thoughtful to your friends, family, coworkers – baked goods are definitely a festive (anytime) favourite. All the ingredients for these soft baked gingerbread cookies cost me under $15 and you can find the recipe here.
I’ll talk a little bit about why I think both of these drinks would make perfect gifts. And they’re even perfect for bringing to Christmas lunch/ dinner (pls don’t mix Baileys with Christmas lunch you will be V sorry).
So every year in Australia, Baileys have two Christmas edition flavours they release to either Wesfarmers group or to Woolworths group (basically, one to Coles and one to Woolies). Coles has the Espresso Creme flavour and Woolies have the Salted Caramel flavour. I bought both and they both taste DELICIOUS.
Even though I am a coffee fiend, the salted caramel is my favourite. Definitely recommend Baileys as a gift to majority of people – my Nanna, Dad and myself love it so it’s a pretty versatile gift.
Now, Pimms has become quite trendy in the past few years. Quite frankly, I see why. It’s a delicious drink for the summertime to keep you super refreshed. My favourite is the Pimm’s Sparkling Cup which comes sparkling, premixed with ginger ale and lemonade. I love to add tons of ice, orange and strawberry slices to mine at Christmas time.
Kmarts’s infamous Velvet Occasional Chair in Blush!
Do you have a friend who has recently moved into a new home and is in need of some cute furniture? Well, Kmart have just realised the cutest Velvet Occasional Chair in Blush! They are extremely hard to come by as everyone on the internet essentially went crazy when they were released. However, I have been told they are being re-released. You can also purchase the chair in grey! It retails for $49.00.
Hand creams make the perfect stocking stuffer and Kris Kringle gifts! I especially love these ones by Mrs Darcy Lifestyle; Jade is a scent of Mandarin, Vetiver and White Cedar whilst Sapphire is Chantilly Musk. These retail for $28.95 each online at Mrs Darcy Lifestyle.
Candles and diffusers!
There are SO many delicious smelling candles and diffusers this year. Glasshouse have a gorgeous range of Christmas gifts which include their limited edition festive scents. My favourite scents are Under the Mistole and The Night Before Christmas. Under the Mistole is a scent of spiced apples, red berries and cinnamon. It’s a beautiful, more traditional Christmassy scent. The Night before Christmas is a sugary plum scent. It’s very sweet and a little bit tart smelling, but very beautiful. Both of these candles retail for $46.95.
If you want to sample all the scent but don’t have the budget, Glasshouse Fragrances also offer mini sizes of some of the Christmas editions. The Christmas Mini Candle Trio has The Night Before Christmas, White Christmas and Christmas Cheer (retailing for $49.95).
Circa home also have beautiful candles and diffusers. I believe the Raspberry & Rhubarb (retailing at $42.95) would make a perfect gift for those who love a sweet scent. Mine is currently situated on my Mum’s vanity as she is fiend for Rhubarb scent things.
For my Pa’s birthday this year back in August, my Mum came up with the coolest idea; DIY hampers! You can basically customise a hamper to the human your gifting it to desire. So they can still be quite affordable.
What I put in my Pa’s hamper includes Mildara Cabernet Sauvignon $24.00 (I purchased it for $12.00 as it was half price at the time). Savoy Biscuits $3.30, Mersey Valley Pickled Onion Cheddar Cheese $8.30, Castello Danish Blue Tradition Blue Cheese and a cute Serving Board with Knifes $15.00.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and got at least one idea from it!
