Hi Beauties! You better start jotting down all your favourite affordable makeup because Priceline are having a massive 50% off all cosmetics this Thursday the 23rd November and Friday 24th November! I have already accumulated a massive list of all the makeup-y things I want which I will hopefully pop into a blog post Thursday night.
This time, I have included my new affordable loves, so you can find my March 2017 favourites by clicking here (I still use majority of those favourites now on a regular basis). I have also tried my best to show some swatches, videos and makeup shots of everything so you have a better idea about the products.
*RIMMEL Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation
A comfortable, breathable & lightweight formula that lasts for a good amount of time! The applicator is also SO COOL and makes life so much easier. I have a full review on the foundation if you click right here! Below is a picture of myself wearing the foundation.
*MODELS OWN Sculpt & Glow – Highlighter Powder in Golden Sand
I can’t believe I’ve only heard of MODELS OWN this year! They’re apparently a popular UK brand thats just hit Aussie shelves. I have tried a lot of their products and oh my gosh, they’re so good! But my absolute favourite is this highlighter. In the picture below, I’m wearing the shade Golden Sand and its so lovely and flattering on my pale skin.
*RIMMEL Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palette
This palette was such a pleasant surprise. The quality is very nice for an affordable eyeshadow palette. As above, I’m wearing the Bronzed palette. The shimmers are very pigmented – I used one of the golden shimmer shades with fix plus to make it stand out a little extra (which I do with most eyeshadows anyway). The matte shades are also quite pigmented and very easy to blend.
*Covergirl Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick
Melting Pout reminds me a lot of the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks. They dry into a demi matte and are comfortable on the lips. However, these aren’t as glossy as TF (but still glossy, get me?), have no scent and are extremely pigmented! Definitely a good, affordable option to pick up. I am obsessed with the shade Don’t be Jelly – it’s stunning!
*RIMMEL Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick
This is probably my favourite affordable matte liquid lipstick at the moment. The formula is really lovely – comfortable, not too drying and long lasting. The shade Rose and Shine is absolutely amazing. You’ll always find it in my handbag. I’m actually going to pick up a couple of back ups from the sale because its just so gorgeous. I have also swatched a few other colours in the range in my Instagram video down below if you’re interested. A couple of the darker shades are quite patchy, so your best to opt for a matching lipliner with them.
Filmed a mini lip swatch video on the @rimmellondonau Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour ☺️ my absolutely favourite shade is Rose & Shine! ✨ • Swatches go from Plum this Show, Fire Starter, Be my Baby, Midnight, Shadow, Blue Iris and Rose & Shine. • Song is Dirty Talk by Wynter Gordon (Laidback Luke Remix). #rimmelstaymatte #rimmellondon #rimmellondonau
*L’Oreal Color Riche Matte Lipstick
L’Oreal is at it again! This time with a beautifully comfortable matte lipstick formula. It’s also enriched with Camelia and Jojoba to help keep lips moisturised. I’m obsessed with the shades Plum Tuxedo and Blush in a Rush. Definitely a great hand bag chucker-inner. 😉
*LUMA On The Glow Highlighter Stick
This is actually the first ever Jessica Hart beauty product I’ve tried – and I’m not complaining. The highlighter stick is creamy, easy to apply (I use my fingers) and provides a gorgeous glow (I own the shade wander-musk). It also creates a lovely base underneath powder highlights to make your cheekbones pop.
*BOURJOIS Rouge Velvet Lipsticks
Rouge Velvet is one of the most creamiest lipsticks I’ve ever applied to my lips. I couldn’t believe it. At the beginning, I’m like this is going to be so messy but it dried to a demi-matte (you just need to give it time). My favourite shade is Hip Hop Pink. Out of the shades I’ve tried, they are all extremely opaque. And the precision point applicator makes application a lot easier. Definitely worth the pick up!
Above I’ve swatched Rimmel Stay Matte in Rose and Shine, Covergirl Melting Pout in Don’t be Jelly, Bourjois Rogue Velvet in Hip Hop Pink and L’Oreal Color Riche in Blush in a Rush.
What are you going to pick up from the Priceline sale?
