L’Oreal Paris Infallible Total Coverage Review.

Hello loves!

I’m SO sorry, I’m like 6 months late on this post .. life just got in the way! ? Anyhow, it’s nothing but a positive review, so without future a doooo!

I’ve been using ITC for about 6 months now, and it has definitely become one of my top three favourite affordable foundations. I’m not a big foundation girl, merely because shade matching me is a chore and a half. So when I find something I like and it matches, I’m one happy cat mumma.

Shade Range

Pretty eh in oz. I’m under the impression there are only six shades in oz according to Priceline? But luckily, the lightest matches my face (thank you, universe). The shade 9 Light Sand Nude is a pale neutral based colour. My natural skin tone is quite fair with neutral to yellow undertones.

I had a peak on the L’Oreal USA website and they seem to stock twelve shades and are rocking a new packaging? I wonder if they will be gliding over to us anytime soon.

Coverage

The finish overall is beautiful. It’s DEFINTELY a full coverage but doesn’t have a cakey foundation look. Majority of my blemishes are covered up, and redness is almost invisible to the naked eye. It does an overall fantastic job and essentially is total coverage.

When you squeeze the product out of the tube, it’s moussey, thick & ‘fluffy’. It’s definitely easier to build your way up, otherwise if you apply to much there isn’t any going back (without a lot of blending down your neck or a facial wipe).

It does dry very fast so keep that in mind when you get distracted by that pretty new lipstick you just got and then you’re trying to blend out a splotchy mess. It does sometimes accentuate my dry patches and smile lines, if I’m extra dry (BUT it doesn’t look cakey, it’s very minor). But a spray of Fix Plus usually settles it down. I also tend to opt for a damp beauty sponge over a stippling brush when my skin is feeling dryer, as I find that works best.

Keep in mind

If you’re sensitive, this could break you out. It personally hasn’t broken me out and I’m immensely sensitive so I guess I’m just lucky in that aspect. But it did break out my sister pretty badly & i’ve heard it has broken out a number of my friends. So you’re best to do a patch test or get the foundation tested in store and have a little wear around before committing to a purchase. Because there is nothing worse than buying a foundation, and then it breaking you out. But you ‘should‘ be able to return it if it does break you out (regarding you have a receipt and depending on where you purchase the foundations consumer guarantees).

Watch me use it!

I have inserted a video of myself using the foundation in a mini video for like 2.5 seconds! You can definitely tell its full coverage, lol!

Let me know if you do try it out and what your thoughts are!
