Hello beauties! Did you hear? Priceline has a 40% off sale coming up tomorrow until Friday on skincare, sun care and tanning! I am super excited! I’ll try and get a post up on a few of the things I’m planning on picking up too. But here are a few of my recommendations on things to pick up. These are things I do highly recommend and I have used myself enough to know I love. My skin type is normal to sensitive with occasional breakouts.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water
This was the first micellar water I ever tried. I really enjoy it and its great for sensitive eye areas. You definitely notice less soak time on the eyeballs with this stuff, compared to a cheaper variety.
My current wash thats in my shower. I definitely agree with the detoxifying effects; my skin always feels smooth and tight once its dried, so I can tell its definitely been chowing down on some of the junk in my pores.
A beautiful, affordable cleansing oil that isn’t rough at all on the skin, especially around the eye area. I use with a cotton pad or my fingers to remove makeup. Its great for those late nights when you have gone out, possibly had a few too many wines and just want to take your face off and hop into bed. At least I know my face is relatively free of makeup and my skin is hydrated in one easy step.
My absolute favourite cleaning balm! Another one of those products to use after a night out on the town and you just want your makeup off. All you do is smoosh it around your face (gently, of course) then take a damp cloth and wipe off the residue. You are then left with seriously smooth skin. I have also had this in my shower for ages (probably like 2 years, lol!) and its still in top condition (no mould!).
Toners/ facial sprays
An absolute must have! This is the most refreshing facial spray in the entire universe. Its literally just fancy water in a can but its so refreshing and makes my skin feel so lovely and hydrated. Definitely a summer essential.
These awesome pads are great for helping re-texturize skin and brightening. I always wake up with a much smoother complexion if I use these the night before.
*Avène Hydrance Aqua Cream-in-Gel
A beautiful cream-to-gel moisturiser which I’ve been basically living off this winter. It super hydrating and you don’t need a lot of product. My skin just looks super glowy and gorgeous after use. I do find I have to use it on areas on my face that aren’t too sensitive as I think it could be giving me Milias, but I love it too much to give up. It’s best to use with the little spatular it comes with as it helps keep the product germ-free from your fingertips.
All time favourite body lotion goes to Palmers. I’ve been using Palmers since high school and its just a deliciously chocolatey brand that I’m obsessed with. Their regular cocoa butter formulas body lotion is very rich and hydrating. It does leave my skin a little sticky feeling but I really don’t care in the winter time cause my body needs that extra hydration.
L’Oreal Paris have done a wonderful job with their Pure Clay range. Out of the three masks I was gifted, the Red Algae Mask is definitely my favourite as it exfoliates your skin as you remove it and you’re left with a beautifully soft, fresh face. The Kaolin, which is a clay, is said to help drain out oils from the skin, which would be why my skin is felt feeling refreshed and tight afterwards. Definitely one mask to try.
I’ve been obsessed with this mask for around a year now. It was SO hard to track down as it got so much attention due to its Manuka honey properties being good for detoxifying, which is true! My skin always feels so refreshed and supple after use and it looks super cool whilst drying.
Absolutely LOVE this eye cream. I love the cool tip applicator which definitely does help reduce the puffiness around your eyes. It has a touch of shimmer in the product which I like, but some people do not like the shimmer under their eyes, so keep that in mind.
Love these wipes for removing my makeup on my lazy days. Even though I do make a conscious effort to not use cleansing wipes everyday as their not really environmentally friendly, they’re good to have on hand for emergencies (and wiping down your makeup desk).
Definitely my number 1 favourite affordable tan. When it dries, it smells like honeycomb! Its delicious. And it also has a really dark formula which isn’t streaky and dries pretty quickly. You can also kind of customise your tan to your desired shade, leaving it on for up to three hours for the darkest effect. I have a full review on this here!
My all time favourite tanning topper! I find it really handy for when I use a tanner that isn’t to my desired shade, if I’m a little streaky or I’ve missed a chunk (usually the chunk part). It develops pretty quickly and doesn’t require to be washed off! Amazing!
I HOPE THIS HELPED! PLEASE GIVE ME SOME RECOMMENDATION, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM!
