I’m back with an exciting new post; my updated beauty vanity! I always get asked questions on where I buy my beautiful decor on my vanity from so I thought it would be a good time to do another one of these. It hasn’t changed too much.. or maybe it has? It changes all the time to be honest, I can’t keep up. It’s still basically all rose gold. Here is a link to my old beauty vanity if you’re interested at all!
Micke Desk from Ikea Australia! I’ve had it for about 3 years now and its still in pretty good nick. There are a few chips on the surface but nothing major.
COPPER PALETTE HOLDER
I can’t exactly remember the name of this but it comes in a pack of four items for $20 from Kmart Australia. The other three items are a pen holder (which I’ve used to store my beauty sponges in), a tray and a magazine holder. If you want an in-depth look into my palette collection, please don’t hesitate to ask!
This brush holder is from an online store called Etoile Collective. They have absolutely amazing pieces and are very sturdy. Mines lasted perfectly, fits a number of brushes in hassle-free and is really easy to clean. It’s also pretty affordable; $25.00 AUD!
GOLD SPOTTED PLATE
I actually purchased this gold spotted plate from David Jones for $1.00 a few months back. It’s absolutely beautiful and has replaced my pink and gold spotted plate from Matchbox (which I broke *cries*). I think it retails for about $10.00 usually. However, If you can’t find this one, David Jones stock some beautiful Parisian inspired plates by Cristina Re that are a little more expensive, but are worth it.
I also snapped up this candle holder for a bargain; $7.50 which was on a half price clearance, as my local store closed down quite recently. I don’t actually hold candles in it, but brushes, random pieces of makeup and skincare because it looks so pretty. I couldn’t find a link to this anywhere, I’m sorry! Hopefully there could be some in stores; definitely call before you go if you don’t want to waste any time.
This cute marble mirror is from the beauty section in Kmart Australia stores. Its double-sided with one of the sides being magnified so us girls that wear glasses can see what we are doing with our makeup, a lot better.
This gorgeous candle came in a set of 4 around christmas time last year, for around $10. It doesn’t particularly have a scent but it just looks really cute on my vanity. I love the white marble with the gold writing. I couldn’t find the exact candle online, so I’ve linked a similar one thats just as affordable.
KMART COPPER PEN HOLDER
As mentioned before, this pen holder came in the 4 pack of copper goodies from Kmart. Its perfect for storing my beauty sponges as they can breathe and are less likely to go mouldy opposed to being suffocated in a makeup bag. I also find it perfect for hanging off tweezers and nail clippers; those tools that you need and are easily accessible opposed to being lost in your makeup bags, as well. I couldn’t find a link online but I think you may be lucky and still find them in stores.
Okay, this is like the most athletically pleasing body lotion in the universe. Plus, it smells like sweet florals and butter. Its a unique scent which also has a light shimmer so it looks stunning all over the body and especially the shoulders/ décolleté, just FYI. So thank you The Makeup Grub (Em) for this amazing birthday present.
On my vanity I also have an array of athletically pleasing books which include Amazinger Faces by Zoe Foster Blake, Love x Style x Life by Garance Dore and a rose gold note book & a marble journal which are both from Kmart.
Okay, I couldn’t resist the mini feature in my vanity post for this cute little brush. It just sits oh so pretty, whilst actually being a really great all-over-face powder brush. I’ve been loving it with my RMCA No Color Powder. It’s also ridiculously affordable, I think around the $12 mark.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know If you end up picking any of these items up for your vanity!
