Why You Need COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drop ASAP

Quite a few months back, I was invited to the Sephora Chadstone opening where some fellow bloggers got to enter the store a little earlier than the general public, to do some shopping before everything was sold out. To my advantage, the Cover Fx Custom Enhancer Drops in Moonlight were fully stocked. So I had to try them for myself and see what all the crazy fuss was about.

Since I wrote this post, I’ve also picked up the shade ‘blossom’ which is equally as stunning.

They kinda sat in my makeup bag for a while cause I was unsure how to use them, how to apply them and they kind intimated me. But one day I was just playing with makeup when I decided to experiment with them. The first time I used them I was kind of ‘eh’ about them, to be honest. They just looked like a chunky line on my cheek. So back in the makeup bag they went. Then I attempted them again with a damp Real Technique Sponge and my index finger.

What I find the best thing to do is either option 1; apply under highlight on the high points of your face i.e. cupids bow, cheekbones and then drop a tiny amount of the drops on the area and blend out with your beauty sponge then your finger. I find using the beauty sponge alone doesn’t get it all blended into the skin, but the warmth from your finger really helps it melt in there.

Or option 2; is mixing a little bit of the drops into your foundation and applying it all over for a gorgeous glow. Just bare in mind, use the smallest amount because otherwise you’ll resemble the tin man and possibly be magpie food.

And just an FYI – all these photos here are Facetune-free.

You can purchase these babies from Sephora stores in Australia, whilst I’ve seen online stockists such as Beautylish and Beauty Bay stock them, so you’re welcome.

So what do you think about the drops?

*Purchased with my own mulla. Thank you, self, for supporting Ashley Maree Beauty *hugs self*
